Robert Clark House
This Greek Revival dwelling was built in 1877 for the Robert Clark family. The family survived the 1875 hurricane in Indianola and moved inland to Victoria that same year. Though she lived another 65 years, Mrs. Clark never returned to Indianola. The Clark House’s symmetrical facade is indicative of the era in which it was constructed. The structure’s exterior windows feature pedimented facings and operable shutters. The Clark House is our city’s finest Greek Revival structure. NR-1986 RTHL-2004.
