Daniel Hawes Braman House
This residence was built in 1903 for Dr. Daniel H. Braman and his wife, Myrtle Barnes Braman, a school teacher and well-known ornithologist. The house was designed by Jules C. Leffland. In this yard once stood a massive magnolia tree, which grew from seeds planted by Mrs. Braman when she and her husband moved in. The tree died in 1969, the year of her death. The house has been significantly enlarged by the current owners. NR-1986.
