Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum
Get to the heart of the cowboy experience at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum. From early roots of ranching in Texas and the Americas, to the great cattle drives of the late 1880s and on into the sunset era, a walk through the storytelling exhibits will introduce you to the real cowboys , not to mention the cattle rustlers, lawmen and cranky camp cooks. Exhibits feature The Ranching Heritage of the Guadalupe River Valley and include interactive displays, oral history videos and an original short film, Pointing Them North. Also on display is Horsemen of the Americas – a collection of rare cowboy artifacts from North and South America.
